Matt's Big Breakfast

A tiny restaurant with a big reputation, Matt’s Big Breakfast was a local secret before Guy Fieri visited with Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.” Now a small crowd waiting outside is a common sight. The menu is brief and covers typical breakfast basics, but daily specials offer some variety. Matt’s definitely doesn’t skimp on real butter, cheese or other frequently substituted items, and ingredients are of the highest quality, including cage-free eggs, grain-fed pork and beef and local organic produce. There will almost always be a wait for a table, especially for parties greater than four, but heading in after lunchtime will help. Try the Five Spot, a breakfast sandwich that leaves nothing to be desired.
